DATA PROTECTION

GDPR Information

A clear summary of how to exercise your UK data protection rights.

Your rights

UK data protection law gives individuals rights over their personal information. Depending on the circumstances, these can include the right to be informed; access; rectification; erasure; restriction; data portability; objection; and safeguards relating to automated decision-making.

How to make a request

Email info@creativexdigital.com with “Data rights request” in the subject line. Explain what you are asking us to do and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. Please do not send identity documents unless we ask for them through an appropriate method.

Identity checks

We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity and protect personal information from unauthorised disclosure. If an authorised representative contacts us, we may also ask for evidence of their authority.

Response time

We normally respond without undue delay and within one month. The law allows additional time for complex or multiple requests; if that applies, we will explain why and tell you when to expect a response.

Fees and limits

Requests are normally free. In limited circumstances, the law allows a reasonable fee or refusal where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. Legal exemptions may also apply to some information.

Objecting to direct marketing

You can ask us to stop using your information for direct marketing at any time. This website does not add project-enquiry contacts to a marketing list by default.

Complaints

Contact us if you have a concern. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
